Stacking the washer and dryer is a great option to maximize space, this gives us room to add a cabinet on the side for extra storage and to fold clothes on top of. I would add a cabinet above the washer and dryer for additional storage and to give it a more built-in look.
I added a floating shelf for even more storage for your laundry supplies or extra linens and a tension rod underneath to be able to hang dry clothes. Adding hooks on the wall can also add more storage with baskets or give you somewhere to hang brooms, etc.
I found a great floral pattern wallpaper that compliments the gray walls and blue cabinets while adding dimension to the back wall. Then by adding plants, a new light fixture, a rug, baskets, and gold hardware we’re tying together the space to make everything look polished while still being practical!
The best part of this design is that it can be DIY-ed pretty easily! I’ve linked several tutorials below to help guide you through building your own cabinets, wallpapering, and installing crown moulding so you can create your own dreamy laundry room on a budget!
