A few months ago Belgard Outdoor Living reached out and invited me to come tour the HGTV Dream Home® 2023. This was an opportunity of a lifetime that I simply couldn’t turn down!
TJ was able to come with me, so we flew into Denver a day early and went skiing in Winter Park Resort! The weather was perfect and everything was breathtaking.
Belgard treated us so well the entire time! We stayed at the Devils Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa, which felt like it was straight out of a movie. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! We had welcome packages in our room and they hosted a dinner for all of the creators invited where we enjoyed a delicious dinner, mingled and then roasted s’mores over a campfire in the snow. I mean, does it get any dreamier than that!?
I was so excited for the Dream Home tour day! We started out the day with a horse drawn sleigh ride which was SO magical. We visited the stables on the ranch and got to take a wagon ride through the pasture to see all of the other horses!
For lunch, we ate food at the ranch and they had a Gem Hats pop up shop where we all got to make our own custom hats!
Shortly after that, we headed over to see the home! We stopped at Red Rocks Amphitheater on the way which blew my mind, and then arrived at the home where the designer Brian Patrick Flynn gave us a personal tour! Every space in the home was so well thought out and had such a relaxed elegance.
Belgard designed all of the outdoor hardscapes and truly blew my mind with how they made the outdoor space feel like it was carved right out of the mountains. So much thought went into designing this house and someone will be incredibly lucky to call it home.
