Sinks are a kitchen feature that people often neglect when upgrading a space, yet they are such a focal point in a kitchen, they deserve to make a statement! When working on this kitchen makeover, we replaced the old sink with the drop-in Pergola 9” stainless steel sink from Elkay and this faucet. This one is great because the straight sidewalls give the sink a flat bottom and offer more usable space for stacking, soaking and washing dishes, plus it’s easy to clean.
If your cabinets are in good shape, painting them is a great option to make your space feel brand new. This is something that you can DIY but I think it’s worth paying the pros to do. The amount of time it takes to prep and clean the space and cabinets is very time consuming and it is a very messy project.
We painted the pantry door in this kitchen Gauntlet Gray so that it would be more of an accent and add some depth to the kitchen. Moody interior doors are very on trend right now so don’t be afraid to try a pop of color!
A backsplash is a great way to add visual interest to a space and make it feel luxury. Choose something neutral that will tie into your cabinet color/flooring choice. Marble or ceramic are a good choice!
Flooring can make a HUGE difference in a space. If you are going to use something other than tile, I recommend using luxury vinyl. It will hold up against water and moisture the best while still giving you that wood floor look.
