Let’s update this living room to feel light and airy, while adding storage and functionality!

Whenever we have an open concept living room, adding a rug helps define the space and make it feel intentional. The corner sectional fits really nicely with the layout of the room, but to help bring a brighter feel to the space I would choose a lighter sectional. To bring some softness and functionality to the space, I would add leather storage ottoman and basket for texture and blanket storage. Then I would add trim and curtains to the windows to help the windows feel more finished. Adding some color on the wall can brighten up the space a bit and updating the fireplace decor with a mirror makes the space feel larger. Finally adding some warm touches with wood accents in the ceiling fan, and side table, then adding some plants throughout the room really ties the space together.
