Love is in Bloom: How to Host an Epic Bachelorette & Bridal Shower

post featured image

Bachelorette party weekend for my girl Chelsea is a wrap! I’m so honored to be the matron of honor for my incredible sister-in-law. 🩷 We had the best time and celebrated in the most HER way. We laughed A LOT and made memories that will last a lifetime!

If you’re getting married or hosting a bachelorette party in Michigan… here was our itinerary for a low-key (ish) party that everyone will love:

Saturday- Bachelorette Party

Brunch + Pottery Class

On Saturday, we took the party bus to brunch at 220 Restaurant in Birmingham– 10/10 recommend, so cute and fun! Then we headed to a pottery class at The Painted Pot in Rochester where we had 3 surprise guests– the Vernaci brothers AKA the most unqualified pottery class hosts 😂 I ordered aprons, berets, and paint palettes for them to wear and we all laughed so hard!

Hibachi Dinner + Drinks

After pottery class, we went back to my house and where we had slushies from The Slush Society, cotton candy from Cloud Bar Michigan, charcuterie from Thyme and Honey, and hibachi from The Backyard Hibachi.

The Details

I found the cutest party decor, I honestly didn’t even want to take it down! Chelsea is so cute and sweet so I wanted the decor to reflect her personality with pastels, flowers, and the prettiest balloon arch from Balloon Joy Michigan. She loves espresso martinis so I made the freaking cutest dessert! I put tiramisu in martini glasses, topped with cool whip, sprinkled some cocoa powder and added some coffee beans. Easy peasy… and delicious!! I also had pictures of her dog, Romeo, and fiancé, Eddie, printed for confetti on the tables and also made fun sticks to bring with us on the party bus.

Slumber Party

After dinner we all put on our matching pjs (use code CE-COMESTAYAWHILE for 40% off Cozy Earth) and then we played a bridal jeopardy game where I recorded Eddie’s answers to see if they matched Chelsea’s!

Sunday- Bridal Shower

Bridal Barre Class

On Sunday, we went to a morning class at Pure Barre Clarkston. It was a much needed workout after all the food and drinks on Saturday LOL! Then we hit Starbucks, because duh, and headed back to my house to get ready for the bridal shower!

Love is in Bloom

I had the honor of co-hosting Chelsea’s bridal shower with my mother-in-law, Kathi, at The Wine Social in Lake Orion and it was a FREAKING DREAM!! Not trying to brag, but I think we nailed it. We did a DIY flower bar where you could make your own bouquets, played some games and had brunch!

Make sure you’re following along @comestayawhile as I stress out my husband one DIY (& package) at a time! I saved all of the behind the scenes planning and more to a highlight on IG!
