Would you believe me if I told you 3 years ago I had never even picked up a power tool and now I’m building these custom built ins from SCRATCH with my own two hands?! 🤯 this is proof that if you have a vision and determination… YOU 👏🏼 ARE 👏🏼 CAPABLE.

DIY can be really intimidating but I promise if you just take it one step at a time you’ll be so surprised what you can do! Still lots to do in here but here’s a little progress update!

I’m trying to decide if I should also put shiplap behind the shelving on the bookcases. 🤔 what do you think?!

I found the COOLEST online tool that helps you maximize your plywood cuts! 🤯 Not only saving you money but also time and the headache of manually figuring it out and making wasteful cuts!

There’s quite a few online but I really like opticutter.com - they have a free sheet calculator where you can put in the size of the panels you have, the sizes you need and it will calculate the best way to optimize your cuts!

Save this for the next time you are cutting plywood! How cool?! Tag someone you think might find this useful!

This week I’m kicking off the home office makeov

This week I’m kicking off the home office makeover and I want you to think moody, cozy den vibes! 😍 it’s out of my comfort zone but I’m excited for the challenge! The office has this really pretty wood paneling on the walls that I want to try to incorporate into the design. (I think 🤣)

I’m going to be building one of my biggest DIYs yet. Completely custom built-ins with a desk and bookcase. I’ve never built cabinets from scratch so I’m excited to take on a new challenge 💪🏼

I tried some paint samples today and honestly hated them all 😂 Do you like any of them? HALP MEEEE
