We spent this spring and summer getting our lawn in tip top shape. Now that we are moving, new house means new lawn and new lawn… well we’ve got a lot of it!

Thankfully our new yard is in good condition, but after all our hard work this spring at the old house, I want to make sure we safeguard the new grass for the harsh winter weather and give it the best start possible next spring!!

One of my favorite parts of the new house is that we have almost TWO acres of land! I cannot even explain how excited I am for AJ to have room to run and play. I’m already dreaming of all the adventures we will have there. Two acres makes our old yard feel small, so I’m more ready than ever to tackle the exterior of the house – starting with the lawn!

I am partnering with Scotts Miracle-Gro from The Home Depot to make sure that our lawn has the nutrients it needs to flourish and stay strong all winter long.

Scotts Lawn Products I am using:

Now is the perfect time for the Scotts Turf Builder Winterguard Fall Lawn food.

This can be used on any grass type, which is great because I have no idea what kind of grass our new house has! You can always take a photo of your lawn and the Home Depot associates can help direct you to specific products to go along with this.

This fall specific lawn food is formulated to deliver the nutrients lawns need in the fall to repair damage from the heat, drought and activity of the summer, ensuring stronger grass in the spring.

The lawn food will help build strong roots before the winter sets in so next spring our yard will be greener and thicker than ever!
