||Where to Watch the Fireworks in Nashville

If you’re lucky enough to travel to Nashville for work during the Independence Day celebrations, then you have quite a treat waiting for you. Billed as the largest fireworks display in the country, the riverfront show is definitely a sight to behold. Fortunately, you can watch the fireworks in Nashville from several different spots in the city, and all of those spots will have a party atmosphere that makes the night even more fun.

If you’re looking for the best spots to watch the fireworks in Nashville, this list will certainly get you started.

Let Freedom Sing! Celebration

In the heart of downtown Nashville, on Broadway and 2nd Avenue, the party will rage from the afternoon until well into the night. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to converge upon the riverfront to enjoy live music and watch the incredible display.

This is a family friendly event, but keep in mind the sheer number of people that will be present. Planning ahead ensures that you’ll all stay together, happy, and healthy.

Hot Chicken Festival

Just across the river in East Nashville, you can enjoy the Hot Chicken Festival all day and then watch the fireworks after the sun goes down. If you’re not familiar with hot chicken, then you should know it’s a Nashville delicacy that’s sure to set your mouth on fire. Fortunately, you’ll find plenty of beverages available to cool you down so that you’ll still be comfy when the first strains of “America the Beautiful” begin.

This is also a family friendly event, so if the kids get to travel with you, you’ll all enjoy the fun. You may want to plan to rideshare with Lyft or get a taxi, because parking is at a minimum in this area.

On the River

There may still be time to charter a boat so that you can enjoy the fireworks from the best vantage point in the city—right on the river. Personal boats must keep their distance from where the fireworks are launched, but you’ll still get the most vibrant show in town.

Choose from several different styles, including houseboats and pontoon boats, depending on how many people will be with you. The bigger your boat, the more new Nashville friends you can invite along to enjoy the evening.

Adventure Science Center

Probably the best event for families in Nashville, the Adventure Science Center party is a real treat. The Red, White & BOOM! party features live science demonstrations, hands-on science activities, music, games, food, and a stunning view of the fireworks at the end of the evening.

As you might imagine, this one sells out pretty quickly. You can read about the different packages and get your tickets on the center’s website. Don’t forget to add on the music laser show!
