Where to View the Eclipse in Nashville

||Where to View the Eclipse in Nashville

If you happen to be staying in Nashville during the month of August, then you’re in luck. The
solar eclipse occurring on August 21 will start two minutes before noon and reach totality at
1:27 pm. This is absolutely something you don’t want to miss, even if you do have work lined
up. Set aside some time to experience this once-in- a-lifetime event.

Several hot spots in Nashville will hold parties so you can enjoy less than two minutes of total
darkness in the middle of the day in the highest of style.

Acme Feed & Seed

This Broadway party hub is offering exclusive roof access all day long, from 11:00 am to 5:00
pm. For $200, you can enjoy a live DJ, unfettered access to the show in the sky, and a swag bag
complete with eclipse viewing glasses.

Pinewood Social

For their “Day Drinking in the Dark” party, Pinewood Social offers lunch, two drinks, a swag bag
with eclipse glasses, and a great viewing location, all for $100 per guest. As you can imagine,
this kind of deal will attract a lot of guests, so call soon to reserve your spot.

Back Porch at Fontanel

If a country setting is more your speed, the Back Porch at Fontanel might be the eclipse party
you’re looking for. Admission is free, including the viewing glasses, but you’ll have to bring
some cash if you want food or drink. Enjoy lawn games from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm while the
eclipse happens overhead.

Adventure Science Center

We can’t have an eclipse without NASA, can we? The Adventure Science Center is one of two
Official NASA viewing parties taking place in Nashville. Meet NASA scientists, enjoy exhibits and
lectures about space and technology, listen to live music, and enjoy snacks from several food
trucks. Ticket prices vary, but you can wander around outside all day for free.

Stay at Home

A party is always fun, but you may prefer the quiet of your own home away from home when
the big moment arrives. If that’s the case, you’ll need some viewing glasses. Warby Parker is
giving away free glasses all month until the big day. You can stay on August 21st , if you wish, or
you can simply take the glasses back to your apartment and watch in peace.

There are several other parties you can join, so if none of these activities sound exactly right,
take a look at this enormous list of eclipse gatherings. There are parties with the Nashville
Sounds, the Italian Lights Festival, dozens of downtown honky tonks, breweries, the Grand Ole
Opry, and even in canoes on the river.

As always, if we can be of any assistance, reach out right away. We hope you enjoy this
incredible show that Nashville is about to put on!
