Labor Day is a great weekend to get out. Usually not as hot as the rest of the summer has been (though we’re not making any promises with as hot as this summer has been!), and there’s always fun stuff to do! We thought we’d share a few of the local favorites that accentuate the brilliant culture of the city, and all the uniqueness this city has to offer.
InterNASHional Food Crawl
This year marks the 5th annual InterNASHional Food Crawl, brought to us by the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition. Whether your ticket is General Admission, or you’ve bought yourself a Curated Food Tour, this is a great experience for foodies and anyone simply looking for a way to experience the culture and diversity our city has to offer! Located at Plaza Mariachi, and happening September 2. Be sure to get your tickets early at nashvillefoodcrawl.com.
Zoovie Night Featuring Zootopia
The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is hosting a movie night! On September 1st, head over to the Nashville Zoo and check out a funny family friendly movie, Zootopia. Not only the Nashville Zoo constantly updating itself and gaining attractions, these types of events are a great way to get to see some of the zoo and find out more about it, while entertaining yourself and the family with a nice night out.
The Listening Room Cafe’s Moving Party
If you’ve not been to one of the shows at The Listening Room Cafe on 2nd Ave, Downtown, you really need to come to this particular show. There will be many artists (in true Nashville fashion) jumping up on stage to perform 1 or 2 songs each. It’ll be a great night of live music in truly one of the better “listening rooms” this town has to offer. Starting at 4pm on September 4. You can find more details and tickets here, www.listeningroomcafe.com/show/tlr-moving-party.
We hope you enjoy your Labor Day weekend! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help make your stay in Nashville the best it can be.
